Richmond Beach Coffee - Great enviornment, great food

If you are looking for a great coffee shop in North King County, look no further. This shop recently opened, but word is getting out. They have been running an advertising campaign in the Shoreline Enterprise, my former newspaper. So if you can grab a copy of the paper look for a free cookie or muffin coupon - score! I made my first visit earlier this week.

What a great place. The decor inside looks fantastic, and it has one key element for a coffee shop: customers, but not too many customers to make it noisy and uncomfortable. So I brought the laptop and cranked out several productive hours of work. I had a Turkey and Jack cheese panini that was excellent, followed up with a peanut butter cookie that had great flavor. I'll definitely be heading there again.

Welcome to my blog

Who's blogging? Me, along with 5 million other people. Will anyone ever be reading this? I'm not sure, but we shall see. As with nearly everything to do with internet marketing, it is only as good as the amount of eyeballs you get to it. Many have built fine, useful websites that they love, but if they do not serve a purpose to someone other than yourself than good luck getting any interest. Then there is also the problem of other websites. If you want anyone (even your closest friends - I know it sounds harsh) to ever read your website, you need to offer something they can't get anywhere else. Whether it is local content, a unique aggregation of content, something cool for free, whatever it is, you better make it good and you better update it often. This goes not just for blogs but for any website. So I am not pledging to make this blog into what I have just described as a relevant website, it is starting out more for experimental purposes.
